First of all, I have just finished your latest book, The Raw Vegan Coach, and I really enjoyed it. I have been raw/vegan for over six years now and I thought I knew it all. Yet, I still learned some valuable things from your book. For one thing, I have had issues with being underweight. I was pleased to see you discuss this issue and provide practical suggestions for correcting this. You covered many great subjects in a well organized, easily readable format. As I said, I learned a great deal.
Anyway, on to my question. I notice that you recommend supplementing with B12 "just in case." I tend to agree that it is better to be safe than sorry. However, I strongly prefer not to take supplements, as they often have other things added that I don't want in my body. How do you feel about nutritional yeast that contains B12? I know it is not the ideal food and I definitely would not eat a great deal of it. I would only take it in small amounts once in awhile for the sake of the B12 in it.
What is your opinion on this?
Thanks and congratulations on your recent wedding.
