I got to 3 months LFRV but for the last 2 weeks I have been eating steamed veges nearly every day. The main reason for this is because I am still getting stomach pains when I eat too much fruit. Strangely when I eat the veges I can wolf down enough to feed 4 people - but when I try to eat more than 5 bananas or 1/4 of a watermelon the pain strikes.
So because I can't eat enough fruit at a time I am getting tired and experiencing low energy levels. I am used to being fairly active with MMA training before I went LFRV, but since doing it I just haven't felt the high energy levels like people talk about, and exercise has dramatically decreased.
It is frustrating because I believe in this way of life so much and all the positives I have had (digestive/bowel improvements and mental clarity) confirm that this is the way forward. But this is a major stumbling block that I am having trouble getting over..
Also I know Fred says to listen to my body - but if I did I wouldn't be able to get enough fruit down.
I don't want to go to a doctor because I know that he/she will tell me to change my diet - and then I will have to politely tell them jam it in their backside..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I don't know how long I can keep this up.
P.S It seems to be worse in the morning, which sux because I need the energy for work - I am 6ft2 so I need quite a bit of food. Upsetting..
